Classic Carpentry

A Career Steeped in History

My family has been established in the carpentry and wood working business for generations. I grew up in Wilton, CT learning the trade first hand from my father and grandfather. After attending art school, I decided to put my artistic skill to practical use by working on finish carpentry with my father.

When I bought a house and moved further north, I decided to branch out and start my own venture. I have a love for antique houses. Although there is satisfaction in all carpentry, new and old construction alike, my favorite job is taking an old house and restoring it to its original beauty.

My family has an affinity for antique houses as well. That’s probably where I get it from. This has given me the opportunity to work extensively on two antique houses in Redding and on my Father’s one of a kind, post and beam, saltbox in Wilton.
